Is Stray Coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch

The answer to the question of whether Stray is coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch is: not anytime soon. There have been zero official announcements from publishers Annapurna Interactive or the developers, BlueTwelve Studio regarding any further ports of Stray. That’s where we stand at time of writing. However, there might be a light at the end of the tunnel for Xbox and Switch owners that want to engage in the adventures of the adorable cyber-cat. Near the end of the original teaser trailer for Stray, there’s text at the bottom that says “Console exclusive for a limited time.” So, there is a possibility that the game is not going to remain “imprisoned” on PS4 and PS5 when it comes to consoles.

So, that’s all we know on the subject of will Stray be on Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Maybe it will, based on a clue from 2020. That’s not the most reliable of leads, to be sure, but it is something to hold on to. Now, assuming that the console exclusivity will end at some point, when will Stray be on Xbox and the Switch? Well, that’s difficult to say. Console exclusivity usually lasts for about a year. So, my educated guess would be that Stray will come out on Xbox and the Switch some time in the middle of 2023. However, there’s no way to know for sure at the moment. Stray is coming out on PC, PS4 and PS5 on July 19th, 2022.
