Slime Rancher 2, the sequel to the very popular first-person life sim adventure hybrid, is out in Early Access. Like the original, SR2 also revolves around taking care of slimes – acquiring them, feeding them, breeding them, and so on – on your ranch. To do this, you are going to need to find better and better resources and tools. One of the most advanced materials is Radiant Ore. In this guide, we are going to show you the best Radiant Ore locations in Slime Rancher 2, as well as how to get it.
Where to Find Radiant Ore in Slime Rancher 2
Before you can find and get Radiant Ore in SR2, you’re going to need to do a couple of things first. You need to buy the Resource Harvester (it costs 10 Cotton Plort and 450 Newbucks). After that, you need to find a Pink Gordo on the north side of the island. Feed it until it explodes. Once it explodes, use the geyser underneath it to climb to the platform above. This is where you will find a button. Press it. This will activate a portal in the distance. When you enter this portal, it will take you to Ember Valley.
This is where you will be able to find Radiant Ore. They spawn randomly in this location, so be sure to search thoroughly for it. The Radiant Ore itself looks like small purple square clumps of rock, and it can be found attached to boulders or sticking out of the ground there.
