Slime Rancher 2 Nectar, How to Get Moondew Nectar
If you don’t know how to get Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2, which is the favorite food of Flutter Slimes, you’ve come to the right place. The nectar is a new resource, not present in the first game. Therefore, you might have some trouble figuring out where and when it spawns. Well, don’t you worry, we’ve got your back. Let’s find out where the Moondew Nectar grows and how to actually obtain it.
How to Get Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2
To get Moondew Nectar for the Flutter Slimes in Slime Rancher 2, you have to collect them from specific flowers. All around Starlight Strand, you will find a special, roundish flowers on top of rocks and boulders. Their center is purplish-blue, and the “outer rim” is white. Each has five broad petals. If you don’t know what these look like, just take a gander at the screenshots. Now, one more thing that we have to mention here is that the flowers only spawn their nectar at night (starting at around 20:00, or 8 PM). What you’re looking for is a little bright-blue ball enveloped in a leaf. That’s the Moondew Nectar, and you’ll usually find it on the ground below the flowers. Just hoover them up from there.
And there you have it, that’s how you get the Slime Rancher 2 Moondew Nectar, aka the favorite food of Flutter Slimes. The flowers usually produce only one unit of nectar per night. However, sometimes they’ll spawn two, so be sure to check every flower you come across. If there’s a ripe blob of nectar in the center, go ahead and collect it. One more thing that we have to mention is that the nectar spoils fairly quickly, so plan your farming runs accordingly. With all of that said, it is possible that there are other flowers or plants that spawn the Moondew, but we haven’t run into them just yet. If you know of any other way to get the nectar, feel free to let us know in the comments. We’ll amend the guide accordingly.
