Sims 4 High School Years Social Bunny App

The Social Bunny made its debut in The Sims 2. There, it was an imaginary friend that children could hallucinate if their Social Need got too low. An obvious reference to the cult movie Harvey, only the Sim that caused it to appear could interact with this giant rabbit. Now the bunny has returned to The Sims 4, albeit in a completely different way. This time, it’s the Social Bunny App. It’s a social media app that teens use in the High School Years DLC expansion. How to Use the Social Bunny App in Sims 4 High School Years

The Social Bunny app is intrinsically tied to the Trendi App in The Sims 4. Using both of these in tandem is the key to becoming a Simfluencer. There are five options on the app: adding a new post, tagging another Sim, checking your feed, checking your list of friends, and sending a message. Obviously, the messages are a really important part of this, as they allow you to communicate with other Sims. As such, they can be one of four types: friendly, flirty, funny, and mean.

If you want to send a message, select the phone icon, followed by the type of message and the Sim that you want to send the message to, depending on the type of relationship that you have – or want to start with the Sim in question. You can also add posts on Social Bunny. These can be Happy or Sad, depending on your mood. There’s likewise the option to stream yourselves while playing games in Sims 4. Lastly, you can promote the things you sell over Trendi via Social Bunny. Taken together, all of these actions will allow you to gain more followers and become a bona fide Simfluencer.
