What are Sims 4 Discovery Quests

According to the official patch notes, the Sims 4 Discovery Quests are “Quests that help you Discover more cool things about the game.” What do they mean by that? Well, the quests will “point out key parts of gameplay and help you learn about features and activities key to a great Sims 4 experience.” These quests involve things like earning Simoleons, dealing with Needs, earning and leveling up skills, completing lifelong aspirations, using the phone, sending your Sims to explore other worlds, etc.

You can find the Discovery Quests settings in the Game Options section, under Tutorials & Tips. You can enable or disable the quests or reset them. Resetting the quests takes everything back to zero, but you won’t get any rewards for re-completing challenges you’ve already finished.

Sims 4 Discovery Quests Rewards

While we don’t yet know for certain what the rewards for completing Discovery Quests in Sims 4 are, we do know that they will include Simoleons, Potions and Satisfaction Points that you can spend in the Store. But more important than the rewards is the overall experience the Quests offer. Basically, they walk you through the many, many different things you can do in the game. This will obviously come in useful for new players, but veterans can also profit from going through them. You know when you’ve played a game for a really, really long time and just kinda get set in your ways and forget about the mechanics that you don’t use? Well, the Discovery Quests will help you shake things up and remind you of all the things you can do.
