Serious Sam 4 System Requirements
The system requirements for Serious Sam 4 is a matter of curiosity among the fans. After all, Serious Sam 4 is the first main entry in the franchise in almost ten years, so people want to know the minimum and / or recommended system requirements in order to know whether they can play it properly. With that in mind, in our Serious Sam 4 System Requirements guide, we’re going to list the recommended and minimum components you’re going to need.
Minimum & Recommended System Requirements in Serious Sam 4
The minimum and recommended Serious Sam 4 system requirements do vary a bit. So, let’s cover the minimum requirements first. One thing you do have to keep in mind is that these “settings” are based on 720p rendering solution at 30 FPS, according to the Steam page. So, yeah, this setup is going to run Serious Sam 4, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the PC master race won’t find them acceptable.
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: 4-core CPU @ 2.5 GHz
- RAM: 8 GB
- GPU: nVidia GeForce 780/970/1050 or AMD Radeon 7950/280/470 (3 GB VRAM)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 42 GB available space
Now for the recommended requirements for Serious Sam 4. As I’ve already mentioned, the gap is fairly big. Then again, considering that the minimum requirements are tailored to 720p and 30 FPS, that’s to be expected. Here’s what you’re gonna need for the “ideal” experience.
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (1909)
- Processor: 8-core CPU @ 3.3 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: nVidia GeForce 1080/2060 or AMD Radeon Vega64/5700 (8 GB VRAM)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 42 GB available space
So, there you have it. Serious Sam 4 is coming out on September 24th on PC and Google Stadia. There will also be console versions on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We don’t know exactly when, but it will be at some point in 2021. This “delay” is due to an exclusivity deal with Stadia, apparently. Very… interesting move there, lads.
