Where to find alarm clock for young night owl?

Approach the night owl youth and he’ll tell you all about how his life got flipped, turned upside down. He can’t hold down even a part time job because of his problem with oversleeping. He thinks an alarm clock would solve all his problems, but he can’t afford to buy one. If you accept, that right there is your hint – you’ll need to purchase the clock.

Now, you might think the clock should be sold in the furniture, but if you did, you’d be dead wrong. You’ll actually have to go to the item shop near the overpass, the one directly west from the quest giver. You’ll be able to buy the clock from the store for 720 moneys (that’s with the B class hero discount).

But here’s the weird part. When you bring the clock back to the guy, he’ll thank you profusely and give you your reward. Said reward includes 900 moneys. I’m not very good at math, but it seems to me like 900 would be enough for him to purchase the clock that costs 720. Maybe my calculation is off, but I’d wager his future isn’t all that bright.
