How to Solve Prince of Persia Lost Crown Sacred Archives Mystery Chest 9 Squares Puzzle

To solve the Mystery Chest puzzle of 9 squares in the Sacred Archives in Prince of Persia Lost Crown, aka the hidden chest in the Temple of Knowledge, you have to light them up in the pattern shown in the image above. This is going to take some precise platforming, timing, and use of Sargon’s powers. Also, whenever you light up one of the tiles, a rock cube will slam into it, so you also have to avoid those. It sounds complicated, but it’s really not that bad. It might take a few tries, but you’ll get it eventually.

The first move is to jump to the bottom middle tile and use Shadow of the Simurgh to create a copy of Sargon. Leave it there and go to the right. Hop up to the middle floating platform. Jump and light the top right tile and make sure you drop to the middle right tile, then air dash across the whole middle row. The final step to solve the 9 squares Prince of Persia Lost Crown Sacred Archives Mystery Chest puzzle is to trigger Shadow of the Simurgh and teleport Sargon to the bottom middle tile.

There you have it, that’s how you solve this puzzle and open the Mystery Chest in the Temple of Knowledge. By the way, there’s also another Sacred Archives Mystery Chest that you can open, near the eponymous fast travel point. The one where there are three people kneeling in front of a mural. All you have to do is crouch in the empty circle, easy-peasy.
