Poppy Playtime Catnap Chapter 3
Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is the eagerly-awaited next part of the popular horror game. Besides the many, many new things about Chapter 3, one sticks out in particular – the (presumably) main antagonist this time around, CatNap. Needless to say, CatNap is a suitably creepy addition to the game, and we are no doubt going to have a lot of fun (and scares) trying to evade this horrific cat. But what’s CatNap’s deal, and what can we expect from it in the game itself? Here’s everything that we know about Catnap in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3.
Who is Catnap in Poppy Playtime?
Also known as Experiment 1188, CatNap looks like a purple cat with striking black eyes and an unnatural wide grin that is filled with darkness. He appears to be the leader of the Smiling Critters (which include DogDay, Bobby BearHug, PickyPiggy, Bubba Bubbaphant, Yellow Bird, White Unicorn, and Green Bunnyand) and is apparently fiercely devoted to protecting The Prototype. Currently, we still don’t know too much else about CatNap, but more is bound to be revealed soon when Chapter 3 releases.
Poppy Playtime Catnap Abilities
CatNap appears to have several interesting abilities that are sure to make avoiding him pretty difficult. To begin with, he can emit a special red gas. This gas appears to be able to put creatures to sleep – as we can see when he did this to his fellow Smiling Critters in the animated short. We don’t yet know if this is going to put human characters to sleep, or if it is going to make them experience halucinations.
But in any case – you won’t want to get caught in it. At a certain point, you are going to get a gas mask that is going to protect you from this gas. Besides this, CatNap also seemingly has the power to change his shape. In the trailer, he was seen inside a decomposing body. This indicates that he can fit into small places, so you will never be quite sure where he can appear from.
