Pokemon Home Server Maintenance & Downtime
In our Pokemon Home Server Maintenance & Downtime guide, we are going to discuss when the maintenance is going to begin and when the servers will be back up. After all, knowing when the app will be down allows you to plan your activities accordingly. So, with that said, let’s dive straight in.
Pokemon Home Downtime – Server Maintenance
The Pokemon home server maintenance downtime will begin at on February 1st at 1 AM UTC. After it begins, “both the Nintendo Switch version and the mobile device version of Pokemon HOME will be unavailable,” according to the official Twitter account. The aim of this update is to add the ability to check Ranked Battle and Online competition rankings and statistics. It will also apparently include the Battle Data display for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. That said, it won’t add connectivity between Scarlet and Violet and Pokemon Home; that will not happen until Spring 2023. So, yeah; you can look forward to features that will let you keep track of Ranked Battle stats. Pretty important for Pokemon trainers that like to duke it out with people around the world.
When Will Pokemon Home Servers Be Up
According to the same tweet we’ve linked above, the Pokemon Home server maintenance downtime should wrap up by 6 AM UTC. Of course, something could go wrong and the process might last longer than expected, but I don’t think that’s very likely. Five hours is plenty of time to implement everything. One thing we do need to mention is that you will have to update the mobile version of Pokemon Home to version 2.1.0 after the maintenance is over. Even if you don’t care much about the new features, such as myself, you’ll still have to download and install the update for the app to work properly.
