Pixel Shards Disney Dreamlight Valley
The latest update to Disney Dreamlight Valley is here. Called the Pumpkin King Returns Update, it has added a lot of new content into the game. In particular – a brand-new type of shard, called Pixel Shards. But what are these Pixel Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley? In this guide, we are going to take a close look at Pixel Shards, how they work, what they are used for, and how to get them in DDLV.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Pixel Shards
The patch notes for the latest update has this to say about the Pixel Shards: “An all-new multiplayer mode comes to the game with Valley Visits. Hang out, share items, and collect new Pixel Shards to craft powerful cooking and crafting buffs!” So, as you can see, Pixel Shards work very differently compared to Dream Shards and Night Shards. But how can you get them? Well, the clue is in the patch notes text. Namely – in the Valley Visits multiplayer mode.
Pixel Shards only spawn when a friend is visiting your Valley. Because of that, it’s best if you ask some of your friends to come visit you in your Valley. Once they are there, look out for any Pixel Shards that have spawned there. And in return, you can always visit their Valley so that they can get some Pixel Shards as well. Currently, we still don’t know precisely what these Pixel Shards are going to be used for. But, once again, going by the description, it seems like they are going to be a resource that you can make cooking and crafting buffs with. Also, it’s highly probable that they will have some other uses as well in Dreamlight Valley. In any case, we are going to update this article with new information as soon as we know more.
