When is the 2023 Phasmophobia Halloween Event Coming Out?

The Phasmophobia 2023 Halloween event release date is going to be “on or around the 26th of October,” according to the developers. Basically, we’ll have to wait until they come back from the Las Vegas TwitchCon. It makes sense, because they want to be available to implement a hotfix promptly should some problems arise in the first couple of days. As for what you can expect during the event, the post outlines two major things. First off, the Maple Lodge Campsite is getting an overhaul. The devs acknowledge that it was made quickly, and as a result, had performance issues due to long sight lines. So, they’ve changed the layout and added “a new reception building, more hiding spots, new decorative assets and better performance across the board.” Sounds pretty exciting.

Another thing you can expect once the Phasmophobia 2023 Halloween event release date comes about is a new minigame at the lodge. Namely, you’ll be brewing potions in the cauldron, which will be in the campsite part of the map. Before you can do that, though, you’ll have to hunt down the recipe cards in other areas. Completing the event will “reward players with a new ID card badge and a new trophy for their collection!” And, of course, the lobby and the campsite will be covered with spooky decorations in the spirit of the Halloween season. This serves a double purpose – the potion-brewing minigame will add an extra element of fun (and stress), and it will help you get acquainted with the new layout of the lodge. Have fun!
