Persona 3 Reload Main Character Name Order Explained
Many JRPGs, including the Persona series, have a canonical name for their Main Character, but also the option to name them whatever you want to. In Persona 3, as well as its remake, Persona 3 Reload, the canonical name of the MC is Makoto Yuki. You can, of course, choose to have this as your MC’s official name. But, considering that Japanese naming conventions put the family name first, and then the given name second, players are wondering how to name their character the correct way so they’ll be called Makoto Yuki in-game. In this Persona 3 Reload Main Character Name Order Explained guide, we’re going to show you how to correctly do this.
Persona 3 MC Name Order – Put Name or Surname First?
In the English version of the game, the naming process works just like in the English language. That is – given name first, and then surname second. If you want your Persona 3 MC canon name to be the same, then you would name your protagonist Makoto Yuki. Doing this will cause the other characters in the game to refer to your Persona 3 Reload Main Character by that name. And in the next section, we’re going to see whether or not it is possible to change your name once you have chosen it at the beginning.
Can You Change Persona 3 Reload Main Character Name?
Note that, once you have signed the contract at the start of the game with your name – you won’t be able to change it again later in the game. So choose wisely, as you don’t want to have to restart the game just to be able to select a different name there.
