Payday 3 Matchmaking not Working Error, Can't Find A Match Fix
If Payday 3 Matchmaking is not working for you, unfortunately, you are not alone. After several betas and the early access period, the third instalment in the Payday franchise is now live for everyone. Alas, it seems that the game is currently plagued with various connection issues, such as Payday 3 Matchmaking error and Nebula error. Here’s what we know about this issue.
UPDATE: On Tuesday, September 26th, at 8 am CEST / 7 am BST / 2 am EDT / 11 pm PDT, Payday 3 servers will be online for maintenance. During the maintenance period, the developers will try to fix the “Payday 3 Nebula Data Error” and other connection issues. This includes the infamous Matchmaking error. The Payday 3 servers will be down for three hours during this period. You will be able to play the game again at 11 am CEST / 10 am BST / 5 am EDT / 2 am PDT.

Payday 3 Matchmaking not Working Error
Let’s not beat around the bush here and instead let’s cut straight to the chase. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, it seems that the servers are simply overloaded and crashed. That’s why you are receiving the “Payday 3 Matchmaking not Working Error”. Hence, there is not much you can do in order to fix it. To put it simply, Payday 3 servers are fried due to an enormous influx of players trying to play the game at the same time. It seems that the developers didn’t account for such a massive launch day, and they have overestimated the servers. The current capacity is simply not enough to support the massive number of players. Hence, Starbreeze Studios needs to either increase the capacity, or you will simply have to wait until the initial flurry of players ease up.
“I’ve tried multiple times but have not been able to get past the match-making screen,” asks Reddit user ImSoSalty88. “Going to go past the refund play time without even trying the damn game”. “I only play solo, and I can’t even play because the servers crashed,” complains another Reddit user. “They should bring back offline heists and possibly even P2P hosting.”
That’s about as much we can tell you at the moment. The developers will simply have to fix the servers and the Payday 3 Matchmaking error. Hopefully, the developers will do something soon.
