Palworld Evolution System – Can You Evolve Pals?

Let’s start with a concrete answer first. No, there is no evolution in Palworld. You can not evolve your Pal in the way you do it in Pokemon games. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that you can not upgrade and create superior new versions of your Pals. However, the system in Palworld works a little bit differently. Namely, instead of evolving your Pals, you will need to breed your existing Pals into new Pals. These Pals will then inherit some of the traits and characteristics of their parents.

To our understanding, just like in the real world, there is a factor of randomness in regard to which genes will a new Pal get from their parents. We can not manually choose their traits. However, that doesn’t mean that you can not influence the process. You will want to breed and combine the rarest and the strongest Pals you have in order to get an even more powerful offspring.
