Palworld Evolution System – Can You Evolve Pals?

Let’s start with a concrete answer first. No, there is no evolution in Palworld. You can not evolve your Pal in the way you do it in Pokemon games. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that you can not upgrade and create superior new versions of your Pals. However, the system in Palworld works a little bit differently. Namely, instead of evolving your Pals, you will need to breed your existing Pals into new Pals. These Pals will then inherit some of the traits and characteristics of their parents.

To our understanding, just like in the real world, there is a factor of randomness in regard to which genes will a new Pal get from their parents. We can not manually choose their traits. However, that doesn’t mean that you can not influence the process. You will want to breed and combine the rarest and the strongest Pals you have in order to get an even more powerful offspring. What’s particularly interesting is that this “Palworld evolution” process never stops.

Unlike in Pokemon, where an evolved version usually can not evolve further, here you can breed your Pals without limits. These new versions of Pals are called Fusion Pals, meaning they came into existence as a fusion of two Pals. You can then breed two Fusion pals to create even crazier combinations. The only limit is your imagination and the total gene pool of your Pals. We can’t wait to see what crazy breeds the community will create. With that said, that’s all you need to know about Palworld evolution.
