Overwatch 2 Voice Chat Not Working Fix 2023
In our Overwatch 2 Voice Chat Not Working Fix 2023 guide, we are going to give you a number of things you can do to make your chat work properly. Obviously, if you know of any other solutions that we haven’t named, let us know in the comments below. With that said, I think one of the fixes below should work. Let’s dive in, shall we?
How to Fix Overwatch 2 Voice Chat Not Working 2023
There are several things you can do if your voice chat is not working in Overwatch 2 in 2023 on Xbox, PC, PS5, etc. The first thing you need to be aware of is that Bluetooth devices sometimes don’t gel well with voice chat. Switch to a wired microphone and headphones if you can, or at least check whether Windows is using the Bluetooth things as default. Also, test your peripherals on another device to check whether they’re the source of the trouble and not the game. Check if they’re plugged in properly, too. Another thing to check are your volume settings, both on the platform you’re using itself and in the game. Go into Options, then Sound, and set Group Voice Chat and Team Voice Chat to Auto Join.
The next possible fix for the Overwatch 2 voice chat not working is to restore your settings to default. Open Battle.net, select Overwatch 2, click the cog and navigate to Reset In-Game Options. Click Reset, then Done, and see whether the chat works normally now. Also, if you are using parental controls, make sure that voice chat is enabled (or ask your parents to enable it). Somewhere in there, you’ll also have to check whether your internet connection is working properly, since that can also cause problems with the chat. While your at it, update all of your drivers if they’re not set to do so automatically. Turn off any application that could be messing with the chat, such as Discord. If none of this works, then you’ll have to restart the game and possibly even restart your device entirely.
