Fix NFS Unbound FTJR2008 Error Syncing System
If you are getting the “Error Syncing System, Contact with Customer Service Error Code FTJR2008” message when trying to play Need For Speed Unbound online, you should know that you are not the only one. NFS Unbound is now available worldwide for all players. Unfortunately, many players can’t play NFS Unbound online multiplayer due to errors such as FTJR2008, 00090809F, or 0013080F. Here’s a fix for these Item Synchronisation Errors in NFS Unbound.
How To Fix Need For Speed Unbound Error FTJR2008
Before trying to fix this issue, make sure that NFS Unbound servers are up. NFS Unbound Error FTJR2008 / 00090809F appears on PC (Steam, Origin, or Epic Games) when players try to play multiplayer, preventing them from playing NFS Unbound Online. The issue has been widely reported since early access, and developers are still working on finding a permanent solution.
However, while they are working on fixing it, there is a temporary workaround. An EA forums user that goes by the name Tokszyq has shared their solution. And it seems that this fix works for everyone. Given that this is an Item Synchronisation error, it has to do with your local and cloud save files. Thus here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\SaveGame\.
- Copy and paste your SaveGame folder to another location (for example – your desktop).
- Once you copy it, delete the original folder in your Documents from the NFS Unbound folder.
- Start the game and allow it to create a new save game.
- Exit the game.
- Head back to “SaveGame” and replace the new save file with the old one(name of the file = 1).
A number of players reported that this solution had fixed the “NFS Unbound FTJR2008 Error Syncing System” issue for them. Hopefully, it will do the trick for you as well, and you will be able to play NFS Unbound online multiplayer again. If you know of another solution, please – share it with us in the comments section!
