MK1 Khameleon Release Date

Since Mortal Kombat made its debut way back in 1992, many characters have been added to this fighting game. Some of these are very well known and have been present in practically every sequel – such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and Liu Kang, just to name a few. But then, there are those characters that have only made sporadic appearances in a game or two. Such is the case with Khameleon (not to be confused with the much more well-known Chameleon), who made her last apperance 18 years ago in 2006’s Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. But this is all set to change, as Khameleon is arriving to Mortal Kombat 1! When is Khameleon Coming to MK1

Khameleon is set to be released in Mortal Kombat 1 on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 – as a Kameo Character. She is the second Kameo Character to be released as part of the Kombat Pack 1 DLC. Mavado, Ferra, and Janet Cage are going to be released at a later date, as will the three other playable Kombatants – Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi. Naturally, this means that you will have to own this DLC if you want to be able to use Khameleon as a Kameo.

Like most other characters from Mortal Kombat 1, Khameleon also has a different background than in past MK titles. Here, she is a member of the Umgadi – the elite warrior protectors of the royal family of Outworld. She is the same species as Chameleon – the Zaterrans, which allows her to change her appearance. One of the most intersting things about Khameleon is that she can use all the moves and weapons of all the female ninjas in the game. This includes Katana, Mileena, and Jade. Needless to say, but this makes her a very powerful and unpredictable combatant.
