How to Use Maze of Memories Loop Hero Card

To use the Maze of Memories card in Loop Hero, you need to know what it does first. For starters, it is a Field card, meaning that it creates new environments within the loop. These cards commonly spawn more monsters or provide some manner of bonus for the player. However, Maze of Memories doesn’t seem to do any of this; what it does is spawn a whole bunch of empty tiles that don’t provide anything for the player whatsoever. That doesn’t mean that the card is useless, quite the contrary.

As you probably know by now, placing tiles in Loop Hero fills up the boss meter, which determines how soon the monster will spawn. The faster you summon the boss, the less powerful it is and the less health it has. This comes in especially useful later in the game; say, in the fourth map. Spawning the boss super-early here is a huge advantage, and it might well be the difference between victory and crushing defeat. In summation, The Loop Hero Maze of Memories card is extremely useful for spawning the boss early, and you should use it strategically and carefully.

Of course, there are other potential uses that you might think of. For example, you could place it to block goblins or bandits from spawning, regardless of how many villages you put down. However, the main function really is to get you to the boss as soon as possible. If you have any other creative uses for the Maze of Memories, share them with us in the comments.
