LoL Zoom Out Further
When it comes to fast-paced competitive games, the amount of visual information that is available to us can often mean the difference between victory and defeat. This is why FPS players always fiddle around with the FOV slider – so that they can calibrate the sweet spot where they can see and react as quickly as possible. And when it comes to League of Legends, this amounts to the zoom out distance. So is there any way to zoom out further in LoL? There is, and we are going to show you how this can be accomplished in the game.
How to Zoom Out More LoL 2023
The first way to zoom out further in LoL is to press ctrl-shift-z in a replay. Now, while changing your in-game resolution won’t do anything to allow you to have a greater zoom, you can do something to affect this. Either by going into your graphics card driver settings to expand your aspect ratio (this is different depending on which GPU card you have), or by buying an ultra-wide monitor to play League of Legends on. Both of these will result in you having more available space devoted to the game on your monitor. On the other hand, pro LoL players often play the exact opposite way, with intentionally small aspect ratios and boxed resolutions, so they can get all the information in a tight little screen all at once. Make of that what you will.
There is also the League of Legends zoom hack. This is a bit finnicky, and you may not get it on your first try, so bear with us here. What you need to do is, while playing Arena, wait until the Round countdown timer goes down to 1 or 0 seconds on the clock. Before that happens, go into options and change your graphics from Very High (or High) to Very Low. If you have done this correctly and at the last moment, the next round will begin with you playing zoomed out. Note that this only applies to that one round and for the next round, you are going to need to repeat the process again. This was figured out by pro LoL player Dominik Biela.
