LoL Hubris New Item Explained
Even though League of Legends came out all the way back in 2009, it is still being played and enjoyed by millions of players from all over the world. A large part of the reason why that is the case is because the game is constantly getting new updates. These add a lot of new content, bugfixes, game mechanics, and more into LoL. For example, recently a very intersting new item has been added into the game, called Hubris. But what does this item do exactly, and how does it function? In this LoL Hubris New Item Explained guide, we’re going to take a look at Hubris and tell you everything that you need to know about it.
What is Hubris in League of Legends?
Hubris is a brand-new Legendary LoL item. Added to the game with Season 14, it is specifically geared towards Assassin Champions. These include Akali, Akshan, Diana, Ekko, Evelynn, Fizz, Kassadin, Katarina, Kha’Zix, Naafiri, Nocturne, Pyke, Qiyana, Rengar, Shaco, Talon, Yone, and Zed. To be able to craft it, you’ll first need to craft the Serrated Dirk and the Caulfield’s Warhammer, as well as have 900 Gold. So here’s the full recipe for making Hubris:
- Serrated Dirk: Long Sword (350 Gold) + Long Sword (350 Gold) + 300 Gold.
- Caulfield’s Warhammer: Long Sword (350 Gold) + Long Sword (350 Gold) + Glowing Mote (250 Gold) + 150 Gold.
- 900 Gold
As for its stats, Hubris comes with 60 Attack Damage, 15 Ability Haste, and 18 Lethality. It also features the Ego and Eminence passives. The first of these, Ego, will give you a statue of your character next to your base in Summoner’s Rift. And as for Eminence, whenever a Champion that you have caused damage to in the last 3 seconds dies, you will gain 10 + 1 Status Rank damage for 60 seconds. While Ego is just a fun little reference, Eminence can make you much stronger if used at the right moment.
