How to Build Axe in Lego Fortnite

If you want to do just about anything in a survival game, you will need to have the two most basic tools in the genre. We are, of course, talking about an axe and a pickaxe. In Fortnite Lego, the Forest Axe is also an essential tool which you will want to obtain early on in the game. So, how to craft an axe in Lego Fortnite? It’s actually a rather simple process.

Before anything else, you will need to build a Crafting Bench, another staple of the survival genre. In order to make one, you will need to collect 8 Planks and 3 Shells. If you are having issues finding Shells, you can check out our separate guide on where to get them. Once you have your Crafting Bench up and running, approach it and press “F” to use it. This will open the crafting menu. From the menu, select Forest Axe and you will see what ingredients you need to craft it. Here’s what you need:

  • Wood x5
  • Granite x2

You can find some wood lying on the ground basically anywhere. You will recognize it as a pile of broken branches. Just approach the pile, and press F to collect Wood. For Granite, the best place to check is near some rocky formations and big boulders. Almost always, there is a small chunk of Granite near them, which you can pick up. Of course, once you have both the Axe and Pickaxe, you will not need to rely on these things, as you will be able to harvest them directly. When you have all the required ingredients, head back to the Bench and build an Axe in Lego Fortnite!
