How to Breed Horses in The Sims 4

The July 20th is finally here, and with it, the biggest summer update for The Sims 4. We are talking, of course, about the Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion. In this update, you will be able to manage a Horse Ranch, take care of stable horses, prepare them for races, and so on. You will also be able to make little ponies! In this guide, we explain how to breed horses in the Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion. Of course, you can always simply create new horses via the extensive horse creation tool. However, it’s more fun to make some the good old-fashioned way. So, how to do that?

Like all other animals in The Sims 4, breeding is a rather simple process. First, you will need to have a stallion and a mare. Next, you will need to make sure they are “encouraged” to get into the action. Eventually, with enough time, they will breed and bring little ponies to your Sims world! This is simply a waiting game from now on. After the two animals become familiar with each other, you will eventually receive a notification informing you that your mare is now pregnant. The little baby horse will appear in your Horse Ranch a couple of in-game days following the notification. And that’s all you need to know about this matter. While you are here, check out our list of all Sims 4 Horse Breeds and Traits.
