How to Get to Glacial Trail Diablo 2 Resurrected
The Glacial Trail in Diablo 2 Resurrected is one of those areas that are very easy to miss. Similarly to the Flayer Dungeon in D2 Resurrected, it can be very difficult to find it, especially if you don’t know how and where to look for it. And while this area isn’t necessary for the main story, you should still visit it for the loot and the opportunity to defeat the unique Bonesaw Breaker monster there. In this How to Get to Glacial Trail Diablo 2 Resurrected guide, we will do our best to explain where the Glacial Trail can be found and how to enter it.
Where is the Glacial Trail in D2 Resurrected and How to Find It
The entrance to the Glacial Trail is located inside the Crystalline Passage. Many players will miss this area entirely, because they are most likely rushing to find the Frozen River entrance, which is also in Crystalline Passage. This is because they are in a hurry to save Anya and finish the “Prison of Ice” quest that is in the Frozen River area. Because of the way that D2 Resurrected maps work, the Glacial Trail’s entrance location is randomized with each playthrough. So, the only way to locate it is to search the entire Crystalline Passage until you run into it. It is somewhere on the outer walls of the Crystalline Passage.
Even though this is a wholly optional area, it’s worth going to the Glacial Trail for several reasons. The first of these is the afore-mentioned Bonesaw Breaker. This unique Reanimated Horde member can be found there, close to a golden chest. His proximity to it means that the Glacial Trail is a great location for item farming. The second reason is that the Glacial Trail is from where you can enter another optional dungeon called Drifter Cavern.
