How to Get Planks in Lego Fortnite
If you’re struggling trying to figure out how to get Planks in Lego Fortnite, don’t worry, we’ve got your back. You will have to put in some work, but all things considered, it’s not that complicated. Certainly not as wonky as eating food, I’ll tell you that much. All you need is a specific workstation. Here’s what has to happen.
Where to Find Planks in Lego Fortnite
You can’t really just find Planks in Lego Fortnite, you have to get yourself. What do I mean by that? Well, the first step is to create a Lumber Mill. That will cost you eight Wood and fifteen Granite, which is fairly cheap for what the thing does. When you do build a mill, though, be sure to put a shelter over it, because it will stop working when it rains. Once that’s all done, go and gather some wood. Interact with the mill to use it. Press the “Plus” button in the upper left corner to add lumber, then wait for the process to finish. You’ll get two measly Plank for one unit of Wood. It is what it is. Remember that you can also make Wooden Rods using the mill.
And there you go, that’s how you get Planks in Lego Fortnite. Now, the one use we know of is for upgrading the Crafting Bench, but I’m pretty sure there’ll be other uses later down the line. Keep that Lumber Mill nice and cozy, you never know. It’s really interesting to see Fortnite take the survival game route; it’s certainly a different spin on what we’re used to. Which means that a lot of people aren’t going to like it, but that’s to be expected with huge pivots like this. If nothing else, it’ll introduce many to the genre. How to Use Planks
There are several things you use Planks for in Lego Fortnite; it’s a pretty important crafting material. Now, I will say it is probably an “ingredient” in more things than we’ve discovered so far, so please, let us know in the comments about the recipes we’ve neglected to mention. So, the first one we’ll talk about is the Spinning Wheel, which turns regular Silk and Wool into Silk Threads and Wool Threads. Making that requires five Wolf Claws, eight Planks, five Wood and five Wooden Rods. Another item is the Juicer (eight Planks, eight Marble Slabs, five Knotroot Rods). Of course, the Small Chest. There’s also Log Lookout, but that’s whatever. It’s not exactly a necessary thing to have.
