How to Get to Palace Cellar Diablo 2 Resurrected
There are many places in Diablo 2 Resurrected that are out of bounds at first, and many people are wondering how to get to the palace cellar. This is in Act II in the area of Lut Gholein. Guards will prevent you from entering and you must first complete several tasks. Once complete you will gain access to the quest within. In Act II, you will reach a town called Lut Gholein. Here you will find a palace that is the home of Jerhyn. When you first arrive, it will be out of bounds. Guards standing outside will stop you from going in. To get entry, you must first complete certain tasks and quests.

Accessing the Palace in Diablo 2 Resurrected
Enter the Lost City Zone and you will find that darkness falls. This is the result of an eclipse, and it will trigger the quest ‘Tainted Sun’. Travel into the town and speak to a character named Drognan. You can find him in the Northeast of the town dressed in a red robe.
Follow his instructions and finish the quest. Travel back to the palace and outside it will be a character named Jerhyn. He will give details of the situation inside and give you access. You then must complete the Arcane Sanctuary quest.
The palace cellar is below the harem levels. Make sure to activate the waypoint on the first level of the cellar. The difficulty of the enemies will pick up from here and if you die you will be able to return to this point.
Most of the treasure in this quest can be found in the harem, so there are few spoils in the actual cellars themselves. Once you reach the third level of the cellar you will find a portal. This will transport you to the arcane sanctuary where you can finish the task.
