Forza Horizon 5 Turn Off Narrator

Narrators are a very common sight (or, more accurately – sound) in many sports games, and Forza Horizon 5 is no exception. Besides providing a lot of information that players otherwise could have missed, such as interesting lore tidbits and serving to notify you of all sorts of things happening around you, the Narrator in games like this also makes the game feel less lonely and more involved by talking to the player. Of course, there are times when you may want to turn this off. For example, when you want to focus all your attention on a tough race. If you are unsure how to disable the Narrator in FH5, our Forza Horizon 5 Turn Off Narrator guide will show you how to do just that.

How to Turn Off Narrator Forza Horizon 5

There are two options you will need to toggle on and off if you want to turn off the Narrator in FH5. The first of these pertains to subtitles in the game. So, go into your game settings. Here, you will see the Accessibility tab. True to its name, this section deals with accessibility options in the game, such as colors, the size of the font, subtitle opacity, and so on. One of the options you will see here is “Subtitles”. By default, this option is turned on. To disable the “text” portion of the Narrator, turn off the Subtitles here.

The second part deals with, of course, the sound part of the narration. It is also, arguably, a lot more distracting than the subtitles, but your preferences may vary. You can find this in the Audio tab, also in Settings. It is under “Speech Volume”, so to effectively turn it off, set this to 0. And that’s how you turn off the Narrator altogether in Forza Horizon 5 by configuring these two options in the game’s settings.

Turning down “speech” in the audio setting is not turning off the talking. Else i wouldnt have bothered checking google wich led me here. This just seems to be the issue with many and will hopefully be patched
