This is the second game in the planned remake trilogy of FF7, itslef a seminal RPG that came out in 1997. Though, FF Remake and Rebirth are much more than mere remakes, as they take the story of the original and build upon it and spin it off into new and unexpected ways. Because of that, fans both of the original and of newer Final Fantasy games are anxiously awaiting to play Rebirth and find out what the new game has in store. FF7 Rebirth Release Time & Countdown

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is scheduled to release this Thursday, February 29th, 2024. As for the time itself, this depends on the time zone that your PSN account is set to. Which means that you may get to play it a few hours before or after midnight, February 29th. Below you can see the countdown timer for the release itself:

You will have the option to start preloading the game on Tuesday, February 27th. As the game is over 150 GB in size, we definitely recommend that you start preloading it as soon as you can, so that you don't have to spend too much time downloading it when it is out and can start playing it as soon as possible. As of right now, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. It is going to remain so for the next several months.
