How to Hide Helmet in Enshrouded – Can You Remove Headgear?

Over the last couple of years, the option to hide your headgear in-game has become a standard for many RPG games. In this way, players are given an option to have their character’s face always shown while playing. After all, what’s the point of spending all that time carefully creating your character if you will not be able to see him throughout the game? So, is there an option to hide the helmet in Enshrouded? Unfortunately, you will not be able to remove your headgear. It’s regrettable, but that’s how it currently is.

However, the game has just hit early access. Meaning there’s much more content to come. Hence, there’s still a possibility. It is definitely an option players would love to see, as we’ve seen a number of players complaining about it. Personally, I would love to see a solution similar to the one we have in Baldur’s Gate 3. There, you can individually switch between the three options: Always show, always hide, and hide in cutscenes. For now, that’s all we can tell you about the hide helmet option in Enshrouded. If the developers share any news regarding this, we will make sure to update the article as soon as possible.
