Enshrouded Best Bow in Early and Mid Game
If you want to know what is the best bow in Enshrouded, which you can find early in the game, you’ve come to the right place! Aside from survival crafting elements, Enshrouded is also an RPG at its core. As such, you will want to make sure you have only the very best gear from the get-go. Read on as we share what we think is the strongest bow to use in Enshrouded in the early stages of the game.
What Is the Best Bow in Enshrouded in Early Game?
The moment you start your adventures if Enshrouded, you’ll learn that the world around you is rather dangerous. Hence, making sure that you have the right equipment for the job is paramount. And if you are going for a ranged build, there are two great options for starter builds. The first one we recommend is the Ornate Wood Bow.
This legendary Level 12 weapon boasts impressive durability, 0.6s Draw Speed (which is among the fastest in the game), and a +7% bonus to Arrow Speed. However, it doesn’t have a permanent location where you can find it. Rather, it drops as a random loot from chests in Springlands. Hence, you will have to get a little bit lucky in order to get it.
- Rarity: Legendary
- Power: 15
- Weapon Type: Bow
- Max Durability: 250
- Draw Speed: 0.6

The triple Vicious enhancement is not only great for ranged builds but also for players who prefer a stealthy approach, killing enemies from the shadows. Make sure to invest in your ranged skill tree, and you will find the Ornate Wood Bow to be the perfect early-game bow. Now, let’s check out an even better bow for early and mid-game.
Where to Find the Best Bow in Enshrouded – Fell Commander Bow
In our opinion, by far the best early game bow in Enshrouded is the Fell Commander Bow. The good news is that, unlike the Ornate Wood Bow, we can show you exactly where you can find this great early-game bow. However, keep in mind that acquiring this bow will be much harder. Namely, you will have to find the Thunderbrute boss, which can pose a particularly tricky challenge to deal with.
The location where you can find the Fell Commander Bow is near the ancient bridge at the centre-north part of the map. You will reach this location naturally through the game while doing The Pike questline. At one point, as a part of the quest, you will be asked to locate the Abandoned Hunter Camp. Once you find it, a note will point you towards the ancient bridge. The Thunderbrute boss is right next to the bridge (underneath it), near the red-shrouded area.
Before venturing here, keep in mind that you will need an upgraded Flame Altar to even survive long enough inside the shroud to tackle the boss. Beat the boss and other enemies in the area, and you will get rewarded the Fell Commander Bow as loot drop. Here are the weapon’s stats:
- Rarity: Legendary
- Power: 17
