Dungeon Hunter 6 Controller Support
Is there controller support for Dungeon Hunter 6? Eight years after Dungeon Hunter 5, the next chapter in this epic saga is finally here. And while the game is fully designed to be enjoyed with touchscreen controls, it’s definitely more comfortable to play Dungeon Hunter 6 with your DualShock 4, DualSense or Xbox controller. Read on as we explain what we know about controller support in DH6.
Can You Use a Controller in Dungeon Hunter 6
At the time of writing, to the best of our knowledge, Dungeon Hunter 6 does not have official support for controllers. This goes for both iOS and Android devices. However, the previous game in the series, Dungeon Hunter 5, does support controllers and is compatible with the MFI standard on iOS and Android devices. Hence, we expect that, at some point, the developers, Gameloft, will add the official support for gamepads in DH6 as well. However, while there’s no official support for PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch Pro controllers, that doesn’t mean you can’t play with them even today.
Namely, some players were able to connect their PS4 DualShock controllers and make them work in Dungeon Hunter 6. Mind you, this is not an official method. For this, you will need to use some third-party apps and do some fine-tuning before you make it work properly. Hence, if you want to start playing DH6 immediately with a gamepad, you will want to use some of these alternative methods. However, be ready to stumble into some issues along the way. Hence, our recommendation is to wait for the official support. If you are interested in seeing some Dungeon Hunter 6 gameplay with a controller, check out this video.
