Disney Dreamlight Valley Romance Options
Disney Dreamlight Valley has recently been released in Early Access. Featuring a gameplay style that is very reminiscent of Animal Crossing – only with, of course, Disney and Pixar characters instead – many players are wondering whether or not Disney Dreamlight Valley has Romance Options. If it doesn’t, are there any plans to add them at a later date? And, if it does, how do these work in the game? We are going to answer all of these questions and more in this guide.
Is there Romance in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The short answer is – no, you cannot romance any of the characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There are several reasons for this. First of all, Disney is very protective when it comes to their characters and the company’s family-friendly image. So even though some of these characters are technically single, they aren’t romanceable by your character. The second reason is that many of them are not human and don’t have human sizes (such as Remy from Ratatouille). So while you aren’t able to have a romantic relationship with Mickey and crew, that doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to have any sort of relationship with them. In fact, a very important part of the game is getting to know all of these characters better and raising your friendship levels with them. You can do this by talking with them, solving numerous quests, and giving them gifts.
As for whether or not romances are going to be added in some future update, or perhaps when the full release of the game is out – it’s possible, but we wouldn’t hold our breath. It’s very unlikely that Disney is going to have a change of heart when it comes to the depiction of their characters. The only way we can see a possible romance being added to this game is if the developers make entirely new characters – ones that have been created specifically for this game and do not appear in any other Disney properties.
