The Deltarune Chapter 2 basement location is a hidden place that you can find after you’ve progressed far enough through the game and found several secrets on your way. Obviously, we are going to have to go into some spoilers here, but we’re gonna do our best and not spoil the story, just the hidden stuff you have to find on this journey. And now, without further ado, let’s dive straight in.
Where to Find the Basement Location in Deltarune Chapter 2
To find the location of the basement in the Deltarune Chapter 2 Mansion area, you first have to reach a specific point of the game. TO be more exact, you need to beat the Glitch boss. After you do that, head to the Trash Zone and go left. Keep going left until you see the green screens appearing in the air, and then head up and through the doorway. You’ll come across a door that used to be locked, but isn’t anymore. So, head right in to meet a new and vaguely unnerving vendor called Spamton.
Now, Spamton has a lot to sell, but what you want to get is the KeyGen item. It’s very expensive, but if you select the item and then back out a few times, he’ll lower the price. It seems like he really wants you to have the thing, doesn’t it? Anyway, with the KeyGen in your inventory, head back to the Mansion. Next, to get to the Deltarune Chapter 2 basement location, head up the staircase to the right of the feet of the statue.
Keep heading right and maneuver your way through the corridor full of pottery. Once in the corridor patrolled by the butler and the dog, head down and right. Cross the highway by pressing the Stop buttons and again maneuver down and right. In the room full of thinking statues, head right and find the single teacup with two candlesticks on both sides. Interact with the one on the right to open a secret corridor leading down. In the next room, use the KeyGen on the keyhole in the floor, and boom, there’s the door to the basement.
