Character Costume Pack 1 & 2 Outfits Missing in Dead Island 2

At time of writing, we’re not entirely certain why the Character Costume Pack 1 and 2 outfits are still missing in Dead Island 2. First off, we thought that the game had to launch on every platform and in each time zone. Well, Dead Island 2 is now out everywhere, but still no Costume Packs. Then we saw people saying that you have to get to the hotel before unlocking access to the outfits. Well, that didn’t work either. So, the only answer we have right now is that we’ll have to wait. We assume that the extra content will be doled out in time. If there’s something we’re missing, please let us know in the comments, and we’ll be sure to update the guide.

So, that’s all we know about the Dead Island 2 missing Character Costume Pack 1 and 2 outfits. Reminder; the two packs each contain one character skin and one extra weapon. The costumes are Silver Star Jacob and Cyber Slayer Amy, and the weapons are The Devil’s Horseshoes and Casimir and Julienne, aka two futuristic katanas. The weapons can be used by any character, but the skins are tied to specific Slayers. In order them, you need to have either the Deluxe Edition, the Gold Edition or the Hell-A Edition of Dead Island 2. It’s probably safe to assume that there will be more Costume Packs for other characters; we’ll have to wait and see. As for Packs 1 and 2, well, I guess we’ll just have to be patient for a while longer.

Thank you. This is the first reputable site I’ve found on this issue. Other sites stretch out the article click bait style, and then lie to you and say “simply make your way into the in game menu.” It’s weird that it can’t be accessed yet, I guess it will come with the additional story DLC or maybe before that. Either way, I appreciate the straightforward answer.
