Bursting onto the gaming scene in 2022, Cult of the Lamb combines the cute with the macabre. A mishmsash of several genres – including roguelike and base building – in CotL, we play as the titular Lamb, who is a servent of a mysterious deity. To aid in our master’s return, we have to build up a cult of adorable critters. Of course, you’re going to need a lot of help doing so, and you will encounter many unexpected twists and turns along the way. The latest free update to the game – called Sins of the Flesh – is almost here. Naturally, it is going to adda a lot of new content and mechanics into the game. So when is this update going to come out? Here’s what we know about the Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh Release Date & Time.
When is Cult of the Lamb Update Sins of the Flesh Coming Out?
Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh free update is going to arrive this Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. And while we don’t know the exact time when it is going to come out, the good news is that it is going to release simultaneously on all the platforms that the game is available on. So that means – PC, macOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Now, going by the previous updates – Relics of the Old Faith and the Don’t Starve Crossover – both of which came out at around 12 PM / 1 PM EDT, odds are good that you can expect the game to update around that time. Of course, this is just speculation.
As for new additions that are coming as part of this free update, there’s a lot to look forward to. This includes new Sins and a revamp of the Follower progression system, allowing them to become your faithful Disciples. But the biggest part of Sins of the Flesh is that your Followers are going to be able to procreate between one another (and maybe with the Lamb as well?). How this is going to work is still a mystery, but it is definitely going to be interesting.
