Cult of the Lamb Egg Hatching Bug Fix
With its latest Sins of the Flesh update, Cult of the Lamb has added many brand-new mechanics into the game. One such new gameplay system has to do with Follower mating and breeding. Similarly to the Pokemon games, you can get two of your Followers to mate, which will then produce an egg. Once you hatch the egg in question, you will get a new Follower. Because of this, this system is definitely something that you will want to engage in, as it can help you replenish your Followers. But, there seems to be a bug with this, that is preventing some eggs from hatching. If you are also getting this Cult of the Lamb Egg Hatching Bug and are looking for a way to fix it, we have several methods you can try out to resolve this right here.
How to Fix Cult of the Lamb Egg Hatching Bug
First of all, to be able to get an Egg in the first place, you will need to construct a Hatchery. This is a new building that, among other materials, requires cotton before you can build it. Then, once you have the Hatchery, you can place the Eggs there to hatch them. Now, if you can’t hatch Eggs, there are a couple of things that you can do to try and get around this. Start by removing the Hatchery. To do this, go into build mode and then into the edit buildings option. Hover over the Hatchery and select the Remove option. Then crack the egg.
As for the other method, this involves building two Hatcheries and then not to hatch the egg in the first one. The second egg in the other Hatchery should hatch as intended. And if none of these worked, the only other solution is to wait until the devs have fixed this bug on their end. Hopefully, we won’t need to wait too long for that to happen. If you have figured out any other way to fix this, then please share it with us and your fellow players down in the comments.
