Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta has been released on Playstation 4, and it has some teething issues. It’s all to be expected – it is a beta, after all – but some of them are more serious than others. Cannot join duo lobby

If you’re having trouble joining lobbies, there’s not much you can do except restart your console and the router. The servers are taking a beating – there’s a lot of interest in the game – so you’ll just have to get in line and wait it out. You might have more luck in solo.

Controller buttons swapped – circle and X

A lot of people have been complaining about this one. This isn’t a bug – that’s because you have an Asian version of the game, where this is the standard setup. You can try looking in the settings, it might be possible to change the controller layout.

Crashing & game session not available error message

Some players are complaining about getting kicked out of matches with the message about the game session not being available. That’s also down to server issues – nothing to do about it by grit your teeth and join another game.

No XP in Blackout

There have been reports of players not getting XP in Blackout. Some report only getting it for winning, not kills and placement, while others didn’t get any. Wingsuit not opening/how to glide

We’ve heard reports of people being unable to open their wingsuits and/or gliders when the times comes. This is obviously a big issue, as plummeting to your death isn’t really an exciting way to end a match. You need to hold the button instead of press it – if you’ve tried that, you’ve exhausted all your options, and it’s obviously a deeper issue.

Lobby not joinable – different NAT types

This is a common issue, but an easy one to fix. All you have to do is switch your NAT type to open. If that doesn’t solve it, it’s probably a much larger issue, and you’ll have to wait for a patch or hotfix.
