Claw Viper Temple Location Diablo 2 Resurrected
In Act II of Diablo 2: Resurrected, the main quest will require you to find the location of the fabled Claw Viper Temple. This is part of the Tainted Sun quest, which starts once you enter the Lost City area. The Sun goes dark and a total solar eclipse means that the gameworld is shrouded in darkness. After speaking with Drognan in Lut Gholein, he will inform you that this is obviously the work of the Viper clan and that you must go to their Claw Viper Temple in order to lift this curse. But that’s easier said than done, since this Temple can be hard to locate if you don’t know where and how to look for it. How to Get to Claw Viper Temple – Valley of Snakes
Drognan will tell you that the Claw Viper Temple can be accessed from the Valley of Snakes. The Valley of Snakes itself can, in turn, only be entered from the Lost City area. Now, while the locations and entrances in D2 Resurrected are randomized, meaning we cannot show you their precise position on the map, there are certain rules to how they function. For example, the Valley of Snakes is on the edge of the map. If you want to get there ASAP, make a beeline towards the edges of the Lost City map and explore them until you find the entrance to the Valley of Snakes.
The location of the Claw Viper Temple is another matter. Entrances to areas such as these are in the center of the map. So, you need to explore the central regions of the Valley of Snakes map until you discover the entrance to the Claw Viper Temple. On the second level of this dungeon, you will find the Tainted Sun Altar which is causing the Solar Eclipse. Once this is shattered, you will also be able to pick up the Amulet of the Viper. You will need this item in order to create the Horadric Staff and progress the main story.
