Clash Royale Level Up Chest Missing, Locked in King's Journey Issue

The latest Clash Royale update has finally arrived. It has brought the usual assortment of bugfixes and new content – including two new cards: the Monk and the Phoenix. Unfortunately, it has also resulted in some new issues as well. One of these is that the level up chest in King’s Journey is apparently missing. So what is causing this Level Up Chest Missing, Locked in King’s Journey issue in Clash Royale, and is there anything that you can do to fix this problem? We have the answer right here.

Clash Royale Level Up Chests Locked in King’s Journey Issue

It appears that this is an issue that has started affecting players after the latest recent update. Additional King Levels were added, the plan for this being that this would improve matchmaking. To quote the developers themselves: “You will also get a nice Level Up Chest with each new King Level, so you will be getting more frequent rewards by leveling up!” However, instead of this, many players are finding that they are not receiving these promised chests, and that they are still locked. The cause for this is definitely a bug of some kind.

But is there anything that you can do to somehow resolve this? Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear so. Since the bug – as well as the update that caused it – are so very recent (having only come out several hours ago), there still isn’t any solution for this. Though, the developers are definitely aware of this locked Level Up Chest bug, and will most likely fix it soon in a hotfix.
