Change Name in Fall Guys

If you’re having trouble figuring out how to change your name in Fall Guys, you’re not the only one. Unlike many similar games, Fall Guys doesn’t let you pick your name. Instead, it pulls your display name from your profile on the platform you’re playing on. You can’t do it from the game itself. So, let’s explain how all that works.

How to Change Fall Guys Name

To change your name in Fall Guys, you have to change your display name on the platform you’re playing on. Back in the day, the developers let you choose whatever name you wanted. Unfortunately, people named themselves all sorts of rude things, so the devs made everyone have auto-generated names. Now, they’ve solved the problem again by pulling your platform display name. Therefore, if you want to be called something specific in the game, you have to change that name.

On the Epic Games Store, open the launcher and click on the little circle with the first letter of your display name in the top corner. In the drop-down menu, click Account. This will open a new tab in your browser, in which you have the option to change your display name. Keep in mind that you can’t change it again for two weeks. If you want to change your Fall Guys name on Steam, open the client and click on your name in the top right. Select “View my profile,” then “Edit Profile.” You’ll see the option to change your name in the “General” tab.

On PlayStation, you need to change your PSN Online ID. Go into Settings, then Account Management, and then Account Information. You’ll find Online ID under the Profile tab. On Xbox, press the Xbox button on your controller, then go to System > Settings > Personalization > My profile > Customize profile. That’s where you can change your gamer tag.
