How to Solve Car Puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 2

To solve the car puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 2, you have to interact with the stoplights that are scattered around intermittently throughout that part of the level. When you press the button, you activate a short countdown during which the cars will be stopped. You have until the countdown is over to get to safety. There’s no way to serpentine your way through the cars while they’re driving; they’re just too fast. So, you have to press the stop buttons strategically (by that, I basically mean every single one you see) to get to the other side. Side note: if you stop the cars in a pattern that isn’t good for you, you can go back to the stoplight you activated, deactivate it, then turn it back on.

Now, it’s important to note that some of the stoplights can be a bit hidden. As in, the light that regulates a specific section of the highway is actually only accessible from the other section. So to solve the Deltarune Chapter 2 car puzzle, always keep your eyes peeled for stoplights with longer countdown times. If you come across one of these, it usually means that you’ll have to trek for a longer amount of time. It’s not overly complicated as long as you keep your wits about you. And that’s about all there is to it. If you want more help with the game, check out some of our other guides, such as Basement Location, Light Puzzle Queen’s Mansion, and How To Fullscreen.
