Brute Scale Lego Fortnite
In our Brute Scale Lego Fortnite guide, we are going to talk about several important aspects of this “issue.” First off, we will explain where Brute Scales come from, plus a few tips on how to battle Brutes. After that, we will explain what the uses of Brute Scales are. Well, the ones we know about, at least. Let’s jump straight in!
How to Get Brute Scale in Lego Fortnite
To get a Brute Scale in Lego Fortnite, you need to defeat a Brute. Seems simple, but it isn’t. If you don’t know what those are, they’re the big creatures that kinda look like if a silverback gorilla had the head of a rhinoceros, as pictured above. They can spawn in any biome, and they are no joke. If you want to bring one down, you’ll need an Uncommon weapon at the absolute least. Long-range combat is highly advised; prepare anywhere between forty and fifty arrows before engaging. And if there’s a river nearby, try to aggro the creature into the water, where it will promptly drown. Brutes are strong, but exceptionally stupid.
How to Use Brute Scale?
Now that we know how to get a Brute Scale in Fortnite, what do you actually use them for? Well, it’s one of the materials necessary to upgrade your rafting Bench to the Epic rarity. You’ll need one Brute Scale, fifteen Copper Bars, and a whopping twenty-five Obsidian Slabs. It’s gonna be a long journey, but don’t worry, the game is pacing you just fine. After all, the Brute itself is not an opponent you can easily defeat at the beginning. The starting sword is almost entirely useless. You will need a Longsword at least. Or, better yet, the Recurve Crossbow, because I highly recommend keeping your distance from the gigantic, spiky rhinorilla. Not that it will keep you completely safe, but it’s better than getting into melee.
How to Farm Lego Fortnite Brute Scale
As we’ve already covered, the only way to get a Brute Scale in Lego Fortnite is to defeat Brutes. Each one drops one single scale upon death. As far as I know, there’s no way to have them drop more, or expedite the process. Now, the monsters do seem to respawn after a while, but we haven’t been able to ascertain how often this happens. If you’ve managed to figure it out, let us know in the comments. Overall, though, there’s nothing you can really do to make things faster or easier that we know of. You simply have to fight the beasties and slowly grind the Scales.
