Armored Core 6 Multiplayer PvP Rooms
Armored Core VI – Fires of Rubicon is the latest entry in the long-running mecha action series. Piloting a huge robot, your job is to take out the enemy opposition and complete various missions give to you. Of course, an important aspect of every game such as this is whether or not it has multiplayer. After all, once you get good enough in a game, you will want to test your skills out against your friends and other human opponents. But how does the PvP Rooms multiplayer system work in Armored Core 6? That’s what we’re here to explain.
How to Play Multiplayer Armored Core 6 PvP Rooms
The first thing that you need to be aware of here is that, unfortunately, you won’t have access to multiplayer in AC6 right from the start. In fact, it doesn’t even become available as an option until you get to Act 3. As this will take you around 10 hours or so of playtime, get ready to play the game a lot until you have progressed far enough in order to unlock MP. Once you have succesfully completed “Ocean Crossing”, which is the last mission of Act 2, this is when you will also unlock the multiplayer component – which is called NEST. Once you are back in the Garage, ALLMIND is going to congratulate you and open up NEST and D-Rank Arena encounters.
The next step is to select the Custom Match option here and then either to create your own Room, or to join another player’s Room. In here, you can set some paramaters, including if you want to play 1v1 or 3v3, how long the rounds are going to last, the map you are going to play on, and so on. Needless to say, if you want to play with friends, they will also first need to unlock Multiplayer.
