How to Remove Quick Waypoint in 7 Days to Die

The 7 Days to Die Alpha 21 Stable update has just been released. This has resulted in a big increase in the number of players currently playing the game, more than ten years since its release in early access. However, despite being so old and everyone known just about everything about the game, there are still some things troubling the player base. Even things are simple as removing the Quick Waypoint from the map.

“So, when I set a quick waypoint I can’t seem to get rid of it,” says Reddit user MrNLM. “Because it doesn’t show up on the waypoint list. Am I missing something or is it bugged?” And he is just one of many players confused by this apparent lack of an option to remove the quick waypoint.

However, the option is actually there! To remove the red flag icon, here’s what you will need to do. Open the map. And on the map, check out the top-right corner. Next, you will spot a little circle with strikethrough icon. Finally, mouse-over the little flag, and it will say “remove quick waypoint”. Use this option, and you will successfully remove the red flag icon.

In addition, you can also remove the current quick waypoint by simply setting another one. Unless something is changed, you can only have one active quick waypoint. Hence, placing a new one will automatically remove the old one. With that said, that’s all you need to know about this. Have fun!
