Gravity Rush 2 Live Action "Gravity Cat" Trailer Released
Gravity Rush 2, the upcoming action adventure game where you shift gravity to solve puzzles, has a new trailer. The live action video features two sisters living with their cat, who one day learns it can change the direction of gravitational pull. You can guess how things turn out.
The trailer opens with one of the sisters working on a college paper. The kitten starts pawing at the keyboard, distracting her and looking to play. The other sister arrives with a bag of groceries under hand. The kitten topples the milk carton, which ends up spilling on the floor. While the sisters are trying to sort out the mess, the kitten ends up on the wall. Before they know it, it starts running across the wall and onto the ceiling.
While one of them runs to get the phone, gravity shifts and they all end up on the ceiling. A fire breaks out, and after a brief period of panic, they all end up falling through the apartment window and into the sky. They finally find peace in the clouds above the busy metropolis. The trailer ends with the first sister working on her assignment while sitting on the ceiling.
It’s warm and cuddly, unlike the live action trailers western games get. One thing it does have in common with them is that it has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Marketing works in mysterious ways. On the other hand, you don’t need a trailer when you’ve got a demo. You can download it from PSN and give it a go – it’s a bit short, but it’ll give you a rough idea of what to expect.
Gravity Rush 2 is going to be released on January 18th in Europe, while the US will get it two days later, on January 20th. It’s a Playstation 4 exclusive.
