Draugur Stuck in Avenger Reporting for Duty GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries
If the Draugur gets stuck in the Avenger in the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow mission in GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries, you are not alone! The new update has just dropped, bringing a plethora of new content and six brand-new missions. However, many players report that they can’t take the Draugur out of the Avenger in the first Project Overthrow mission. Here’s what we know about it.
Draugur Stuck in Avenger GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries Reporting for Duty Mission Bug
The GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries update is here. The new update brings a six-missions-long campaign called “Project Overthrow”. Here, players will join forces with Charlie Reed and Los Santos Angels. The goal is to dethrone the corrupted Merryweather Security and its criminal operations. The upgraded Mammoth Avenger will be your centre of operation. And many missions will revolve around it. The very first mission is called “Reporting for Duty”. And it will have you raid the Davis Quartz Mining Facility and steal Merryweather’s cargo.
This cargo is a Draugur in the container. Hence, the first part of the mission will have you loading the container on the Avenger. However, the next step is to bring back the cargo to the Los Santos Angels’ facility. And that’s where people encounter the “Draugur Stuck in Avenger” bug in the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow mission in GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries. “Anyone else having a bug where you cant take the Draugur out of the avenger in the first mission for Mercs,” asks Reddit user SnooFoxes5206. Other players report similar issues.
For now, there doesn’t seem to be a proven workaround that will fix this issue, unfortunately. Reddit user Duclicsic states that he had to “Retry and drive it all the way to the dropoff because it’s locked for me when trying to access it inside the avenger”. Finally, if you know some workarounds, please, share them with us in the comments section!
HINT: This just happened to me and I found that there are TWO blue Coronas at the rear of the Avenger. The FIRST is the smaller corona to ENTER the Avenger as normal, and the SECOND corona, strangely placed between the FIRST corona and the Door, is the TRIGGER to End the Mission.
When the Draugur remained LOCKED, it was because I triggered the FIRST corona instead of the SECOND. I found it easier to trigger the End Mission corona by approaching from the SIDE, where the TWO Coronas are more easily recognized. FWIW
