The latest DLC for GTA Online is finally here. Called San Andreas Mercenaries, this update brings the usual assortment of new things to the game. Naturally, this includes things such as new missions, vehlices, weapons, but also new quality of life improvements as well. One of these is the option to make custom tags for Garages. Undoubtedly a very useful little addition, it will allow you to further customize your playstyle to better suit your needs and to give each garage a more unique feel. How to Add Custom Tags to Garages in GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries DLC

As you will see, this process is very simple and easy to do. In order to add a custom tag to a Garage in GTAO, go into your mobile phone and call the Mechanic from your contacts there. Once you have done that, you will see a list of all your garages. Now when you interact with one of these from the list, there’s going to be a new option to add a custom garage tag.

A text box is going to pop up, notifying you that you can now enter the new tag for the garage in question. Note, however, that you are limited to a maximum of 15 characters. This provides a nice little option that provides an extra layer of personalized information about the garage. Lastly, you need to be aware that this applies only to the garage itself, and not to all of your personal vehicles in said garage. Also, this doesn’t mean that you actually rename your garages, only that you have added a small tag next to them that provides more info about them.
