GTA 5 Online will go down for 24 hours

GTA Online down

Multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto 5, simply called Grand Theft Auto Online, will be unavailable tonight, on January 15th, 2014, from 9 PM Eastern Standard Time, Rockstar announced. GTA Online will be offline due to maintenance.

The down time will be longer than what most players will want to hear, but Rockstar claims that they will manage to finish all of the work within 24 hours.

GTA 5 recently got the 1.09 update which addressed cash cheats and other exploits that we covered here.

GTA Online will be back on Thursday, January 16.
