Yggdrasil's Dew Locations - How To Increase Stats
Yggdrasil’s dew is a collectible in God of War that can prove to be very valuable for min-max players . It’s a magical dew drop that comes from the World Tree. Drinking it will permanently increase one of your stats, which makes them extremely useful. If you feel like you need (or simply want) that kind of boost, keep reading and you’ll find all the God of War Yggdrasil’s dew locations in our guide. Be warned that this article contains spoilers that hint at what happens in the later stages of the game. If you want to avoid that bookmark the article and come back to it once you approach the end of the main story.
Where to find Yggdrasil’s Dew?
They are scattered throughout the game in different locations and exploration will be your best friend when looking for them. Most of them are in Midgard around the lake area. You’ll have to reach the point of the game after the water level drops. The first one, luckily, you’ll probably find while doing the main story quest that takes you to Alfheim. It is the dew of cooldown. As soon as you put the boat into the water you’ll see a faint blue glow in the distance, past the little island. That is probably the first Yggdrasil stat booster you’ll get in the game. Most of the others you will find once you progress the main story for long enough that the Lake of the Nine water levels drop. We list them by type in the rest of the article.
Yggdrasil Dew of Strength
There is the dew of strength at the Lake of Nine, in Midgard. It was revealed at the point of the game when the water level dropped. We found it next to Alfheim Tower, near the oarmen statues. We found another dew of strength next to the newly emerged dock at the Cliffs of The Raven (the beach with the dead giant in the southeast). Going to the southwestern corner of the lake we found another one. Go behind Niflheim Tower, under the broken ship that’s stuck between the tower and the rocks to get another stat booster. There’s a runic power upgrade nearby as well. Look for its location later in this guide.
God of War Yggdrasil Dew of Vitality Locations
There are two dews of vitality around the Isle of Death. The first is on a rock southeast of the island, while the second is west of the island, on the cliff.
Dew of Luck Locations
We are still at the Lake of Nine and we found Yggdrasil dew of luck next to the giant gates at Stonefalls, near Buri’s Storeroom. Another luck booster can be found in a cavern north of the Forgotten Caverns, in the northwest of the lake. Look for a cave with basalt rocks around the entrance, on the western shore. Once you find it, go inside and you’ll see the dew drop.
Yggdrasil’s Dew of Defense
Still at the lake, the first dew of defence was hanging from a tangle of roots next to the boat dock of Muspelheim Tower, in the south. For the other one you need to go the western shore and locate the cavern described in the dew of luck locations described above. Go towards the northwest bay of the western shore and you should see a cavern north of the Forgotten Caverns. Dew of defence is in a cave north of that cavern. Screenshot should help you with the exact location.
Runic power Yggdrasil Dew
We found just one runic power booster in the game so far. Go to the southwestern corner of the lake. You’ll find it by the coast near Iron Cove
God of War Yggdrasil Dew of Cooldown Locations
Beside the one you found in Alfheim, as described at the beginning of this article, there is another Cooldown reduction stat booster we found near the lake. It’s on the northeastern side of the island with the Light Elf Outpost.
I hope you found these locations helpful in boosting Kratos stats and that it will help you in defeating end game enemies, like the Valkyrie queen Sigrun. If you come across some that we haven’t located yet please feel free to let us know in the comments.
I noticed that these dew frags do not update my stats automatically. Is there a way to use them?
Ya what the hell ive found like three of them and it hasn’t given me no opinion to drink them but wine I check inventory I only have one wtf
They do automatically update your stats, however the game shows you how many of each you have collected, so if you are going 100% completion on the game you can it helps keep track of how many you have collected, sort of like it does with the IDUNN Apples and Horn of Blood Mead.
