How to Remove God of War Ragnarok Green Shield Barrier in Nidavellir in Svartalfheim

In order to remove the God of War Ragnarok Green Shield Barrier in Nidavellir in Svartalfheim, you have to get an upgrade for Atreus’s bow. You need a new special ability, which lets his arrows break through any and all barriers of the same color. Okay, so how do you do that. Easy. Head to the north of the town of Nidavellir (if you don’t know where that is, take a look at our screenshots below). If you open your map, you’ll spot an icon that kinda looks like a bear paw. That’s where you’re headed. Once you get there, you’ll see that it’s actually Sindri’s shop. Go ahead and have a chat with him. He will replace Atreus’s bowstring, which will give you the “skjálfa” spell. The word means “shake” in old Norse, by the way, and it makes this type of barrier basically implode.

And that’s how you remove the Green Shield Barrier in Nidavellir, Svartalfheim in God of War Ragnarok. Once Sindri upgrades the bow, waltz on down to the dock where you first encountered the shields (location provided below, in case you don’t know where the barrier is in the first place). Fire one of Atreus’s “skjálfa” arrows into the shields to destroy them. In the small area that’s now accessible, you’ll find a big ole chest with Hacksilver and Slag Deposits in it. Perhaps more importantly, one of Kvasir’s Poems is on one of the crates to the left of the chest.
